Simon's first step on the jewellery ladder started back in 1984 when he enroled in a National Diploma course in 3d Design Crafts at Epsom School of Art & Design. Within 2 years he was making jewellery for Dave Vanian of The Damned and selling in Hyper Hyper in Kensington High St, London. A further 2 years at Epsom and he was selling at The Outlaw Club in Covent Garden, had work featured in The Design Magazine as well as exhibition at The Institue of Contempary Arts in The Mall, just down the road from Buckingham Palace.
Simon specialises in handmade pieces, whether it be a one off custom design or a small production run.
Queens Roger Taylor & Brian May both have pieces made by Simon, as does guitarist Jeff Beck (a lovely guy, RIP Jeff), Robert Smith of The Cure, Johnny Depp, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Dave Vanian & Rat Scabies of The Damned, Johnny Borrell from Razorlight, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, Punk Icon Jorden Mooney (RIP you beautiful lady), Rock'n'Roll photographer Ki Price, guitarist and general megastar Rex Roulette, comedian Noel Fielding, Seye and Jeff from Gorillaz, Nick from Placebo, actor & director Stuart Brennan, actor Matt Schulze (Fast & The Furious) and the man who knows people, Craig Goodman.
